How to back up an iPhone: 3 ways to back up your iPhone

 The first way: backup on iCloud

 One way to create an iPhone backup is to use iCloud. Here's how to use iCloud to back up your iPhone.


  •  Make sure you have a stable WiFi connection.
  •  Go to the settings of your iPhone device
  •  Click on the image of your Apple ID
  •  Click on "iCloud" and then on "iCloud Backup"
  •  Click on"backup now".
  •  The iPhone will now create a backup in iCloud.

 Method 2: backup iTunes using a Windows computer

 Another way to make a backup copy of your iPhone is through iTunes on your Windows personal computer.



  •  Make sure iTunes is installed on your Windows personal computer.
  •  Connect your iPhone to the computer using a USB cable.
  •  Locate the iPhone button and press it in iTunes (the icon depicting the smartphone is in the upper left corner).

  •  Choose the "Encrypt local backup" checkbox if you want to encrypt your data. This also requires you to come up with a password and enter it.

  •  Press the "Backup Now" button.

 Method three: backup using Finder on Apple Mac

 Start by connecting your iPhone to the computer using a USB cable.

  •  Press the "Backup Now" button.
